Yes, it’s finally happened. There is now a second camera in Tuck’s world, on the warm side of the tank. You can see it at either www.tuckcam.com or by clicking the page on this site called “Tuck”.

I need to get a stand so I can put the camera higher… right now it’s too close but at least it’s working.

It should be a near perfect view of his little head popping out in the morning from beneath is his substrate.

I finally got FME (Flash Media Encoder) to be the thing handling the stream to Mogulus. Hopefully that will solve my constant video disruptions. I also think this gives me the ability to add a second camera so I can stream the warm side of his tank at the same time as the cool side. So perhaps after work today I’ll go grab an additional camera. It seems too look much nicer this way too, tho I haven’t seen the tortoise make an appearance yet to check the frame rate.

I hate my Macbook Pro. I should look into selling this damn thing. In case you cared! :P This damn thing was half the cost of a lift for my Jeep. Suck…
