Yes, apparently that’s me.

Or maybe just expensive hobbies… It’s not like I’m after the Lamborghini or something. In fact I’m quite satisfied with my Jeep.

But my hobbies are a downfall and we can even throw my career into this category. I like stuff and this kind of stuff is not cheap. Microphones, hand held recorders, ProTools, plugins… Lenses… And now workout gear?!

I’ve never been one for the trendy workout clothes but today I went down to check out Lululemon in La Jolla… La Jolla… That should tell you right off it’s pricey. I went in hoping the when I tried stuff on I’d hate it but unfortunately I did not. It’s quite comfortable and a nice change from my Nike stuff. Twice the fucking cost tho! So I limited my purchases and have no intention of going back in a LONG while.

It was almost amusing going in there and I’ll just assume that’s because it’s just downtown La Jolla. I don’t understand how these girls could even work out with the size of their fake boobage. Yes, definitely a trendy brand and I got suckered into it. I look forward to wearing them tomorrow nevertheless!

Oh how this weekend vanished so quickly.

Today was rather productive tho saddening that I didn’t get to see Brandon due to his plague. I went to Ralph’s nice and early so I didn’t have to deal with the parking wars. Purchased lots of healthy foods, many with my FoodSaver in mind! Purchased to little loaf pans and a bamboo cutting board there as well. I’ve been needed a cutting board as my others are so tiny and my Mom suggested the bamboo ones.

Bamboo is a funny thing. It requires a little more maintenance than other types of boards. So it require a trip to Bed Bath & Beyond for some mineral oil. You need to oil it dailt for the first week, then once a week for the first month, then once a month for the rest of it’s life. Yes, it’s a commitment. I never thought I’d have “commitments” with my baking/cooking wares.

I also bought FoodSaver canisters!!!! So cool. A pack of 3 sizes I ended up using the smallest one to test it out sealing some almonds. I really love this thing!

The most important item acquired tho was a new trashcan. My trashcan tried to kill me today. It refused to release the bag when I wanted to empty it so I had to use my foot to help leverage it out. The the can fell, I tripped over the can, and fell full force onto my knees. Yes, that sucked. Now I have to Neosporin my booboo’s like a 5 year old. I threw that trashcan out and hopefully this one isn’t evil…

Whatever.

I made turkey meatloaf tonight. Is that just called turkeyloaf at that point? It turned out quite well and I got to use one of the mini loaf pans. It made about 4 servings and right now the left overs are freezing in preparation for being…. You guessed it!… VACUUM SEALED!

Tonight will have to be another early night as I still feel slightly on the verge of illness.

Oh another week of egnines. My favorite thing!
