Thursday night activities!
So as most of my older friends will tell you, I don’t like comedy. I generally tell people “I don’t do comedy” but most of the people I hang out with mean things like Dumb and Dumber or Adam Sandler types movies. I do really hate those. Things that are stupid just to be stupid actually annoy the hell out of me and kinda piss me off. hehe I mean don’t we deal with stupidity enough on a daily basis in real life?!
Tonight Emily invited us over to watch a movie…a comedy. I wasn’t scared tho because I think she and I have a similar form of humor. She popped in this film called Kenny. This movie was funny as hell and a type of humor I can enjoy. I guess I mainly don’t like slapstick (?). What made it even more amusing for me tho is she had to turn on the subtitles because the Australian accents were so thick it was hard for us to understand. LOL Who would have ever thought a movie about a portapotty dude could run 97 minutes long and be hilarious thru it all!
Thru parts of the movie her little kitty would take nibbles on Chris… another form of humor I can appreciate. I’m not sure if he’s tasty (really, I have no idea) but Shinok (?) was all about the Chris flesh. She is one gorgeous cat. I made sure to get home and goggle the breed. Devon Rex. They have the COOLEST fur, it’s very soft and is kinda texture like a sheep.

I want one. I need one.
I’ve decided I’m going to get another tortoise soon, probably after xmas. But a little Devon Rex is next on my list!
On another note…slightly less fun…I jacked my foot up in Kung Fu today. Tuesday I threw a flip, the first flip in easily over ten years. No problem! So how did I hurt my foot? I jumped. Just a straight up and down jump. The ankle didn’t roll, nothing curled under…yet I felt a bone on the top of my foot do something unhappy. If that’s not a sign that the end is near I’m not sure what is. I mean god, I should be able to jump up and down…I’m not even 30! On the brighter side of Kung Fu I had my little white sash oral test. Tests are another thing I haven’t done in over a decade and I was pretty unenthusiastic about this…99 freaking questions or some shit. I can barely remember the names of people I work with…how am I supposed to remember shit like Doc Fai Wong (yes I googled the spelling). However, I seemed to have passed this and now the can feel the information slowly leaking from my brain.
Anywho, I guess I should go try and pop whatever is out of place back into some form on skeletal continuity. Fun stuff.
Thanks again for the movie Emily!
